Portuguese Pedro Carneiro is most and foremost internationally known as a percussionist to whom many contemporary composers have dedicated their works and who performs together with numerous top musicians and orchestras worldwide. As a composer and improviser Carneiro uses live electronics, laptops and different cutting-edge technology in order to explore new sounds and timbres. This time Carneiro will play percussion music from 17.-18. century together with ERSO and principal percussionist of ERSO Madis Metsamart. He will also perform as a conductor conducting Haydn’s and Beethoven’s symphonies.
