ERSO’s collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre has become a tradition. This year’s soloist is Alexandra Kamenskaya, a second-year student in Prof. Ivari Ilja’s class at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The talented pianist comes from the North-East Estonian town of Jõhvi, has successfully participated in several Estonian and international competitions and continued her education at Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts under Prof. Wolfgang Watzinger. The orchestra, conducted by Lutz Köhler, principal guest conductor at London Royal Academy of Music and professor of Berlin University of the Arts, will also play the best-known of Anton Bruckner’s nine symphonies – the Seventh.
