At the traditional New Year’s Concert of Hennessy and Eesti Kontsert, the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra will perform under the baton of Paavo Järvi, musical director of the Orchestre de Paris, one of the most outstanding orchestras in the world, as well as the Frankfurt hr-Sinfonieorchester and Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and, beginning in autumn 2015, also the principal conductor of the Tokyo NHK Symphony Orchestra.

Paavo Järvi’s cooperation with ERSO has yielded numerous memorable concerts and eight CDs that have earned critical acclaim in the world’s music magazines; one of the albums has earned Estonia’s very first Grammy Award.
