The 3rd Tallinn International Piano Competition will be held on November 13–23, with up to 50 young pianists from all over the world. This competition is organised by the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in collaboration with the Estonian Piano Teachers Association; the artistic consultants are Peep Lassmann, Mati Mikalai, Lembit Orgse, Marko Martin, Sten Lassmann, and Ivari Ilja.
The competition has three rounds. The first and the second round will be held at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, the third round at the Estonia Concert Hall with ENSO. The competition jury includes the internationally renowned musicians Boris Bermann (Yale), Ian Fountain (London), Zbignevas Ibelgauptas (Vilnius), Scheja Staffan (Stockholm), Ming Yang (Beijing), Yuri Gildyuk (Minsk), and Ivari Ilja (Tallinn).
The previous winners of the competition are Mihkel Poll (2006) and Kristi Kapten (2011).
