Andres Mustonen presents yet another great musical personality at the opening concert of his festival – a virtuoso trumpeter Sergei Nakariakov, whose performances are highly anticipated all over the world. Sergei Nakariakov’s name quickly gained international prominence in the late 1990s. Born and raised in Russia, Nakariakov now lives in France. He is without doubt one of today’s greatest virtuoso performers. Music critics have unanimously hailed him as “the Paganini of the trumpet”, “an exceptional talent” and “a young wizard”.
