The French pianist Cédric Tiberghien began taking piano lessons at the age of five and won his first prize at the Paris Conservatoire in 1992. This was followed by numerous prizes from various competitions, including the Long-Thibaud Competition, the Rubinstein Competition and many more.

This year’s highlights must include his solo performances at Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall and Konzerthaus and La Monnaie in Brussels.
