A nation without a past is a nation without a future. International Music Day is an excellent time to think of our roots and ancestors and to highlight crucial moments, events, or rituals – or why not works of art – from the past.

For the first time, ERSO will perform sections of the opera “Loreley” by Fredrik Pacius, author of the Estonian national anthem, and Lepo Sumera’s music for the animation “Hell” by Rein Raamat, created on the basis of the best works of artist Eduard Viiralt. The final piece of the concert to usher the listeners home is Mihkel Kerem’s “March Home, On the Double!”, which features the ever-familiar melody of ‘Meil aiaäärne tänavas’.

Concert is produced by ERSO.
